TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Cars lined up bumper to bumper Sunday night at Remnant Church for its annual trick or treating event.

Volunteers with the church helped load cars with over 2,000 pounds of king size candy, along with other things like food and toys. Attendees also enjoyed a live DJ and bubble machine.

Pastor of Remnant Church Branden Norman said this event is aimed to create lifelong memories.

“Like our heart is always the family and here at Remnant Church we really push family emphasis,” Norman said. “It’s very important that family gather together and create memories and stuff. If we can help that process and just give hope to people. There’s been a lot going on and if this can just ease that.”

Remnant Church leaders said people should check its Facebook page for information on future events.
