“I’ll miss him so much there’s not words in this world that I could say how much I miss him and how much I’m going to miss him,” Angel Archer said.
Angel Archer tears up as she remembers the man she called her soulmate.
“How outgoing he was, how he touched everyone’s lives, he touches so many lives,” Archer said. “So many people love him.”
Archer dated 26 year Robert “Paulie” Olson for over a year and says they were inseparable, calling, texting and chatting 24/7.
But Thursday night texts and phone calls sent to Olson went unanswered.
And when Thursday turned into Friday afternoon archer says she drove by his house, to find his car missing and police officers surrounding the home.
“And that’s when they informed me that he was not okay, that they had found him,” Archer said. “And I was just so heartbroken I just broke down on the sidewalk. I still didn’t want to believe them but I just knew when he hadn’t gotten a hold of me, I knew something wasn’t right. That’s not Paulie.”
The news of Olson’s death hit Archer and her 6 year old son hard.
The three had a close bond and the family was soon to become four.
Archer is set to give birth to their first child together, a baby girl in July.
“That was part of his birthday present,” Archer said. ‘I told him that he was going to be a father and he was so happy. He said it was the best gift he’s ever ever received his whole life. So I’m just really happy that I got to give that to him.”
Archer says she wants people to remember Olson as a kind and loving man he was.
And to tell those in your life how much you love and care for them often.
“Our loved ones are here for a short time,” Archer said. “And we never know when they are going to be taken from us so just hold them as close as you can and kiss them and hug them. .”
A benefit is planned in Olson’s honor on May 12th.
Money raised by the benefit will got to his family to help with funeral costs.
