More than 2,000 new coronavirus cases reported in Illinois overnight

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health on Sunday announced 2,126 new cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 43,903 cases, including 1,933 deaths, in 96 counties in Illinois. The age of cases ranges from younger than one to older than 100 years.

No confirmed cases have been reported in Edgar County.
