OWEN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Owen County Health Department reported Wednesday that it and Owen County Emergency Preparedness will be conducting a special one-day Mass Vaccination Clinic Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Owen Valley High School, 622 W. SR 46.  There will be a large volume of availability for the Moderna-produced COVID-19 vaccination on this date.

Make an appointment through either Indiana’s 211 call system or via the http://ourshot.in.gov website.  Do not call the health department or the high school as they cannot make an appointment for you.  Refer to this specific location — “Owen Co. Owen Valley High Mass VAX” — when making the appointment. If you already have an appointment scheduled for your first vaccine dose on a date after April 10 and want to get it sooner, call 211 to reschedule.
