VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An Evansville man is facing charges of reckless driving after allegedly driving at least 60 mph above the posted speed limit.

According to Indiana State Police, at approximately 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, a state trooper observed a vehicle traveling on the Lloyd Expressway in a 40 mph zone at the speed of 107 mph. Police state that the vehicle was pulled over on Fulton Avenue after exiting the expressway. During a search of the vehicle police reportedly found 66 grams of marijuana.

35-year-old Wesley Hunt of Evansville was placed under arrest and taken to the county jail where he posted bond and was released.

Hunt faces a Class C misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and a Class B misdemeanor of possession of marijuana.
