It was a taste of southern hospitality for students at Indiana State University Tuesday.
Cheri’s Lemonade was on campus, giving out free treats to the freshmen and upper class students to enjoy. It’s the ninth year they have done this event with the ISU President’s wife, Cheri Bradley, greeting all the students. She says she loves seeing all the new faces, and learning more about each student on campus.
“I learn a little bit about them they kind of pass through quickly grabbing their lemonade and cookies on
the way to class and sometimes I just get a moment to get to know them,” says First Lady of ISU Cheri Bradley.
Coming up in December, the Women at ISU event will collect gifts and goods for women shelters across the community.
