The election is finally over in Vigo County. Today, final numbers came in for the recount of the race for Division One Superior Court Judge.
Challenger Raeanna Moore asked for a recount against incumbent John Roach after November’s ballot count showed a margin of just 64 votes.
The recount gave Roach an additional four votes. The final tally gave Roach 19,503 votes and Moore received 19,435.
“The commissioners will sign off on what we did the past four days, and then it will be filed with the special judge that will review it, and then certify the results since they have to be done by December 20th,” said Karrum Nasser.
The votes tallied by the Recount Commission were all absentee, mail-in, travel board, military, overseas and provisional.
