Radio Company Opens Home in Clay County

News

An Indiana radio company is expanding, and that’s good news for the Wabash Valley.

On Tuesday, DLC Media opened a new broadcast center in downtown Brazil. The new state of the art facility will be the new home to three area radio stations including 95.9 The Legend and 99.5 WAMB.

It’s taken about a year to complete construction, but now the doors are officially open.

President and general manager Dave Crooks says, none of this would be possible without the help of their local listeners.

“Well, we like running radio stations out of small towns. And people are still listening to radio, as many as 9 out of 10 people listen to local radio every day of the week. But the reason that local radio does so well, is because of localism.” Dave Crooks, President / General Manager, DLC Media.

Crooks also says that DLC Media is excited about investing in Brazil and Clay County. He looks forward to providing great local programming and entertainment to listeners.
