Public forum held to make headway for improvements

News

Another public forum was held tonight for residents of the 12 Points and Collett Park area. The residents are worried about the number of abandonded houses around the area and the general up-keep of the community. Candidates running for city office were also invited to attend.

Lucy Chew, the organizer of the forum, said “so we wanted to organize this form to give people a chance to come and voice their concerns and get some answers from mayoral candidates and city council candidates and ask them what they plan to do and just get answers and addressing other concerns that they have.”
