A review of the shooting that resulted in the death of Terre Haute Police Officer Rob Pitts is now complete.
Back on May 4th, Terre Haute Police chased murder suspect Christopher Wolfe to Garden Quarter Apartments in southern Vigo County.
Wolfe fired at officers, killing Pitts.
Two other police officers returned fire.
As is standard procedure, the prosecutor’s office reviewed the shooting.
They found the officers actions were justified and in self-defense.
Autopsy results showed the suspect killed himself with a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
