An employee of the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility finds herself on the other side of prison bars tonight, after officials say she engaged in a romantic relationship with an inmate.
On Thursday, the Office of Investigations and Intelligence at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility, arrested Aramark employee Courtney Secrest on allegations of a romantic relationship with an offender.
OII Supervisor Keith McDonald and Investigator Jodeana Raney conducted the investigation and interviewed Secrest on the allegations.
During the interview, Secrest admitted she was having an inappropriate relationship with an offender inside the facility.
Secrest is charged with a Level 5 Felony for Sexual Misconduct, and remains in the Sullivan County Jail.
