Folks in Brazil are to enjoy a new partnership. This summer, the city and the YMCA is joining forces.
The “Y” is taking over management of Forest Park Pool. That means folks in Brazil and Clay County will no longer have to travel for swim lessons or lifeguard instruction.
The city and the “Y” have partnered on other projects. But, this is a first for the pool.
“It’s a win for the city and for the YMCA. We’re glad that they reached out to us, and we’re using our resources to pull from and offer these programs to the community,” says Aquatics Director Hector Contreras.
Managers are still looking for swim instructors and lifeguards for the pool. If you’re interested, contact the “Y.”
