Police Chase Ends in Crash

Terre Haute, IN - A man is in the hospital and facing a slew of charges after a police chase Tuesday night in Terre Haute.

Around 8:00 P.M., officers tried to pull over a car at 19th and 8th Avenue for disregarding a stop sign.

Police say the driver didn't stop, leading to a pursuit.

At one point, police say the driver tried to ram a squad car, but no contact was made.

The chase ended at Fort Harrison and Aberdeen when the suspect crashed into a concrete wall.

The suspect was transported to the hospital where he is still being treated for his injuries. His name has not been released.

Police say he will be charged with Resisting Law Enforcement, Criminal Recklessness, Reckless Driving and Operating a Vehicle without Ever Having a License.
