Plans for T.H. convention center move forward following public hearing

Plans for a convention center in downtown Terre Haute continue to move forward.

A public hearing was held Wednesday to discuss improvements to the downtown area. No one spoke during the hearing, and three resolutions quickly passed.

The next step will be for the Vigo County Council to sign the interlocal agreement that states they will help pay for the convention center.

If everything goes according to plan, construction will start in July.
