7 Day Forecast
There are areas of fog Monday morning. Be careful on the roads. Temperatures are mild though to start our Monday off. We are seeing scattered rain showers early this morning as well. Those will move out but another round moves in later today and into tonight. The valley is under a slight risk of severe thunderstorms today into tomorrow. It’s mainly going to be later this evening with some thunderstorms lingering into the overnight hours. Our southern parts of the viewing area were upgraded to an enhanced risk of severe weather. Numerous severe thunderstorms are possible tonight. Greater chances of severe weather where the CAPE (convective available potential energy) is just south/southwest of our viewing area. Biggest things for us to look out for is the possibility of seeing damaging winds and hail. Make sure you have a way to get all weather alerts and have a safe place in mind for when/if a warning goes out. The safest place to be is in a basement and to have a helmet or blanket nearby to cover and protect your head. If you do not have a basement then an interior room, in the middle/near the middle of your house on the lowest level. An area with no windows. Upper 70s today and lower 60s tonight. We stay active this week with cooler temps moving in and lots of rain chances.
