While most people were out going house to house for trick or treating, some kids in Sullivan had bigger plans.
And those plans had them “parading” their Halloween spirit.
The 73rd annual “Odd Fellows Halloween Parade” kicked off Tuesday night in Sullivan.
Every year kids dress in their favorite costumes, and parade around town for a night of fun; that includes candy.
They also take part in a costume contest, where judges select the best costumes. But that night all kids were winners as they loaded up on candy, soda and beads.
The parade started all the way back in 1944, and it’s sponsored by the Sullivan Odd Fellows Lodge 147.
