Terre Haute - Vigo County School Corporation send out a press release this evening.. pertaining to a possibly threat received at Terre Haute South High School today.
They said it was tied to a to an incident at another school in Indiana today.
In Richmond, Indiana a student shot himself after police confronted him after a middle school there went into lockdown.

This afternoon at Terre Haute South, there was a safety concern that generated from heightened awareness due to the tragic events at another school in Indiana today. The Vigo County School Corporation takes these reports seriously and has spent the afternoon and evening investigating with our local law enforcement partners. We have found no evidence of viable threats. The Vigo County School Corporation wants to reassure our students, parents, and community that we take all actions possible to maintain a safe environment, and that was why there was the presence of extra officers as Terre Haute South dismissed today and the reason we will have a greater number of School Protection Officers present tomorrow.
