KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Fire officials returned Friday to the scene of a cabinetry shop that burned down east of Vincennes.

The blaze happened Thursday afternoon at Cabinetry by Provines located on South Hickory Road near U.S. 50

About 100 firefighters from 15 agencies responded and were on the scene for around 12 hours.

Firefighters returned to the scene Friday morning.

“We’re back here today hitting some hot spots with the help of an excavator. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. However, we do not believe there is any kind of foul play involved,” says Chief Tim Smith with the vincennes Township Fire Department.

No one was hurt.

Smith says the building is a total loss.
