Murder victim identified as missing Sullivan woman


SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. – The victim of a Sullivan County homicide has been identified as 61-year-old Patricia S. Dorsett of Sullivan.  

According to Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom, investigators received the positive identification late Thursday afternoon.

Investigators had been searching for Dorsett since Saturday after friends reported her missing. She was last seen with friends Wednesday, May 22 north of Dugger, Ind. 

An autopsy was conducted Wednesday morning revealing the victim died as a result of a homicide. 

An Indianapolis couple, Danny A. Wilson, Jr. and Renee S. Huffines, were arrested Wednesday in connection to the murder. 

Sullivan County Sheriff’s investigators have been assisted by the Indiana State Police, Sullivan County Prosecutor Ann Smith-Mischler and Sullivan County Coroner Maryann Dudley.
