Motorcycle Rider Airlifted in Clark County

Clark County, IL - A motorcycle rider is airlifted to a hospital, after an accident involving a deer in Clark County, Illinois.

It happened on Friday, at Mt. Moriah Road just south of US 40 in Marshall.

Officials with the Clark County Sheriff's Department say the deer ran out into the road, causing the motorcycle rider to collide with the deer.

First responders called in a lifeline helicopter from the ARCH Air Medical Service Base in Effingham, to transport to the rider to a hospital to be treated.

Officials have yet to released the name of the victim or details regarding their injuries or current condition.
