In light of recent gun violence in the Valley, folks in Sullivan County paid tribute to fallen officer Rob Pitts today.
Sullivan Automotive Group put on a memorial fundraiser for the family of officer Pitts. A dunk tank, good food and great company helped celebrate the life of the beloved Sullivan native.
From oil changes to car washes, people came out for good services and an even better cause.
“We just kind of felt it was a need to have something here in his hometown. Just to have his hometown support him, to see his community come out, and we’re just shocked. It’s unbelievable how many people are standing behind this gentleman,” Joe Mascari with Sullivan Auto Group said.
Folks could even get oil changes and car washes, some good services for an even better cause.
Officer Pitts lost his life while on duty in Vigo County last month.
