TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – As a result of opening sales at McAlister’s Deli in Terre Haute, the food chain will donate $2,500 to Susie’s Place and advocacy center for abused and neglected children.
Originally the restaurant aimed to donate $10,000 to Susie’s Place, but was unable to reach their goal of $21,000 in sales on Monday. The goal was to break the record of opening sales of the restaurant chain.
Officials with McAlister’s Deli in Terre Haute say there will be other fundraising opportunities for the restaurant that could result in a $10,000 donation to Susie’s Place.
