CLARK Co., Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Marshall community is getting ready for the Christmas season by raising money for Shop with a Cop.
Harlow’s Diner hosted the night of fun Saturday.
People got to show their creative side with face mask and pumpkin decorating contests.
There was also a chance to enter a raffle, for prizes like gift cards and a gym membership.
All proceeds from the events will go to the Clark County police’s ‘Shop with a Cop’ program and Coats for Kids.
“It’s been a rough year for everyone especially business being shut down and money being tight for a lot of different people. We figured if we could get donations to help raise money for different group causes, it be worth doing,” said Zac Smith of Harlow’s Diner.
Harlow’s Diner will be collecting donations all week long.
