MARSHALL, Illinois. (WTWO/WAWV) — A new farmers market is coming to Marshall, Illinois this summer.

The Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Marshall Main Street to bring the farmers market to town.

The market will start on June 3, 2022 from 4:30-7:00 P.M. Central time. It will continue throughout the summer months.

Those who attend can expect to see multiple vendors, food, and live music. There are 8 vendors who have signed up so far.

“I’m very excited about it and I hope that it will really bring our community together and it’ll give us all something that we can do on Friday nights together,” Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Nora Swalls said. “This is a great community and I’m really looking forward to seeing everybody out and about at the farmers market.”

Vendors can sign up to participate free of charge. More information about the farmers market can be found on their website.
