March to Support Victims of Curtis Hill

Activists in Indianapolis are planning to rally on at the Indiana Statehouse, for  “March to Support Victims of Curtis Hill” movement.

Protesters will stand outside the statehouse to voice their support for the four victims that were sexually assaulted by the state’s Attorney General Curtis Hill, and call for his resignation.

You may recall, Hill is facing allegations that he inappropriately touched and groped four women at an End of Legislative Session party at a bar. Since the allegations have become public, Governor Eric Holcomb, House Speaker Brian Bosma and Senate President David Long have called on Hill to publicly apologize and resign from his position. Hill denies the allegations against him, and says he will not resign.

The campaign has gained quite a following on their Facebook page; at last check  nearly 40 people will be in attendance of Saturday’s rally.

But organizers say in order to get their message across they need more voices.

“They can’t get away with it. Women are speaking out now and that just because you have a position of power you can’t use that against people,” Annette Gross, March Organizer.

The rally is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 7th, at 2 p.m.

Organizers say all are more than welcome to join, in their fight for the justice of the four women.
