A man who police say had one of the largest gun collections they’d ever seen appeared in court on Monday.
Gary Diana was arrested on Friday for allegedly threatening a healthcare worker.
On Monday, a Vigo County Judge set his bond at $100,000 and ordered doctors to evaluate his competency.
Diana was arrested outside his home in the 900 block of East Sunset Pike Drive.
Authorities say they found hundreds of guns and some explosive materials inside the home.
Law enforcement removed the firearms under the Red Flag Law. That law allows police to temporarily take someone’s guns if they believe that person poses a threat to themselves or others.
Formal charges haven’t been filed yet against Diana, but officials anticipate he’ll be charged with Intimidation and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
