A man has been arrested in a stabbing at a local strip club.
It happened on December 29th outside 6th Avenue Bar, located at 796 Lafayette Avenue in Terre Haute.
According to court documents, the victim told police another patron was being “loud and annoying”, so he told him to go outside.
The victim told officers that later in the parking lot, that patron stabbed him in his side and then fled the scene.
Officers later located the suspect, identified as Daniel Allsup, walking on 1st Avenue near 5th Street.
Allsup is facing charges battery resulting in serious bodily injury, battery by means of a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness.
He’s being held in the Vigo County Jail on $35,000 bond.
Allsup is due back in court later this month.
