Man accused of breaking into Vermillion County home


VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – An Indianapolis man is accused of breaking into a Vermillion County home early Tuesday morning.

The sheriff’s office says it happened at a residence on U.S. 136.

According to law enforcement, someone at the home found Marcelo Pedro inside and held him there until deputies arrived.

The sheriff’s office says Pedro struggled with deputies as they tried to arrest him.

He’s now facing charges of residential entry, resisting law enforcement and criminal mischief.
