One Terre Haute hotel is still recovering from damage received during the storm that hit in May.
A storm back in May, left a hole in the roof of Comfort Suites, on Margaret Avenue. That caused damage to rooms on the second and third floors.
The storm also led to flooding the lobby and breakfast area. They had to block off the building’s north wing. But, hotel managers want folks to know that they’re still in business.
“Yes it was extremely busy. Yes we had a lot gentleman, we get a lot of workers that came in here from out of town, there must have been…I mean because of all the power lines and every thing fown we had a lot of those workers here to fix those for us so ya,” says Assistant General Manager Shenel Rogers.
The hotel hopes to be done with repairs by the fall.
