Maintaining The Beauty

Saint Mary of the Woods College is pitching in to keep their campus in tip-top shape.

Volunteers took to the street to take part in Foundation Day, to celebrate the day Saint Mother Theodore Guerin arrived at the Woods. Many cleaned up trash along the roads, along with other campus tasks. Other volunteers took time out to make clay bowls for Catholic Charities Soup Bowl Benefit. It’s a way for those at the Woods to work side by side in unity, and move their mission of positive change forward.

“Doing campus clean up projects, raking, weeding, cleaning signs. The day to day tasks that don’t always get done. That can help make our campus beautiful and help students, faculty, and staff take pride in  the place where they work and study,” says Executive Director of Mission Effectiveness, Andrea Beyke.

If you would like to experience the beauty of the winter campus up close, A Woods Christmas is open to the public this December.
