Madipalooza a Big Success

The first Madipalooza event is a big success.

You may remember Madi, the daughter of our own Cody Adams.

She was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia last year.

She’s doing much better after a bone marrow transplant, but now the Adams family wants to give back with Madipalooza.

The event included a magic show, music, food and crafts.

The money raised goes to Riley Hospital for Children and the NICU at Union Hospital.

It’s a milestone for their family and a way to celebrate with the community.

“Our community was with us when we were down and I really feel like our community is with us when we’re up, so that’s really cool to experience,” says Nicole Adams, Madi’s mom.

More than $12,000 was raised Sunday.

The Adams family hopes to make Madipalooza an annual event.
