Rose-Hulman puts the emphasis on education year-round.
Today, the emphasis was on employment. More than 80 companies set up in the school’s REC Center for the Spring Career Fair. In most cases, these were smaller firms, looking to fill specific jobs. We found one recruiter who graduated from Rose a few years ago and he can now appreciate events like this from two perspectives.
“We find that people who have gone to Rose-Hulman know Rose-Hulman. We know the student body and it helps us relate to the students, so it gives you kind of a feel for who’s here based on the fact we’ve already been here.”
Rose-Hulman has a terrific track record of helping students find internships and employment. Nearly 77% of graduating seniors in the class of 2017 already have a job lined up.
