TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Some locals got their spring cleaning out of the way today, while also helping out community programs.
The free will rummage sale for CASA took place today at the Terre Haute Farmer’s Market.
People dropped off their items and others could make a donation to the Vigo County CASA program in exchange for items they wanted to take home.
Larger items had a minimum donation and remaining items were sent to Goodwill.
“It’s a unique way to clean out and get ready for the summer months and help two causes because at the end of today with anything that’s left it’s going to get donated to goodwill aswell so you’re helping two causes with one sweep,” said Vigo County CASA Director Glenna Cheesman.
CASA is currently in need of volunteers.
