Terre Haute woman injured in Effingham, IL motorcycle crash

EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Terre Haute woman was injured when a deer ran in front of the motorcycle she was riding Tuesday night near Effingham.

April D. Marlow, 40, was the passenger of a motorcycle driven by Christopher D. Marlow, 45, of Terre Haute. They were heading northbound on Interstate 57 near Effingham when the deer ran into the roadway.

After making contact with the deer, the couple was thrown from the motorcycle.

April was transported by helicopter to Carle Hospital in Champaign.
