KNOX COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces intermittent lane closures on State Road 441 at Willow Street and 6th Street in Vincennes for pavement patching operations.

Beginning Friday, Aug. 30, contractors will intermittently close sections of S.R. 441 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily as they complete a concrete and asphalt patching operation from the interchange at U.S. 41 to 2nd Street.

Lane restrictions will also be left in place overnight on concrete sections to allow materials proper curing time.

The project will be performed under flagging operations on the single lane sections of S.R. 441 from 2nd Street to the intersection at 6th and Vigo, and then following 6th Street to Willow Street.

The four-lane section of S.R. 441 will be performed under single lane closures.

Depending upon weather conditions, the project is scheduled to last until the end of September.
