SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation told residents to expect lane closures on State Road 154 near Graysville during fall seal coat operations.
Monday, Sept. 9, INDOT maintenance crews will begin closing lanes on S.R. 154 between the Illinois State Line and S.R. 63 for seal coat operations.
During this operation, crews will repair the road with aggregate and oil and then seal the section, creating a new driving surface and extending the life of the existing pavement.
Work is expected to last for about a week, depending upon weather conditions. Rain or other inclement conditions could cause a delay in the start date of this operation.
During the course of the project, local traffic will have access to the points of closure.
