FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Our station, WTWO/WAWV, is gearing up to celebrate “Nexstar’s Founders Day of Caring” with a day of giving back to the local community.

This year, we are planting trees in the areas hardest hit by the March 31 tornado that destroyed parts of Sullivan and Robinson.

The trees arrived at our studios in Farmersburg on Thursday morning.

The Tulip Company, Win Energy and First Farmers Bank and Trust provided the trees that will be planted next week.

WTWO General Manager Tim Sanders says it’s important for our station to support the communities that we live and work in.
