WTWO announces new Vice President, General Manager

FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The WTWO station has a new Vice President and General Manager, but for many he’s a familiar face.

Tim Sanders started here as a college intern in 2003 and now holds the TV station’s top position. He graduated from Marshall High School in Marshall, Ill. and Lakeland College.

Over the past several years he has worked in many of our departments, ranging from news to promotions to sales. The life-long Wabash Valley resident said his goals for the station include community service and helping cities and towns with their economic development.

“Being a part of here and living here for 38 years is going to make a huge impact for the station because when we do a news story, when we cover a ribbon cutting or a new business opens in town, I’m just as excited as everyone else who is a part of this,” Sanders said.

Sanders and his wife Elizabeth have two children.
