FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The crew at WTWO is pleased to announce that one of our main anchors, Dana Winklepleck will continue her career with the station for another 5 years.
Among Wabash Valley’s most prolific, trusted, and well-known journalists, Dana joined the station in the 1990s as an assignment editor and worked her way up to a main anchor. Dana said she was pleased to keep telling the stories of people all across the region.
“In and out of the studio, Dana has proven to be an outstanding journalist,” said Tim Sanders, Vice President and General Manager of WTWO/WAWV. “The wonderful personality that you see on TV is what it’s like to work with her each day. Dana proves year after year her continued dedication to WTWO and the Wabash Valley. I’m excited to have an award-winning journalist on our team for another five years.”
Dana also said she feels blessed to have a fulfilling job that she loves, for all the amazing people she has met along the way, and for the opportunity to work with very talented people each day.
“I’m grateful that for more than 25 years viewers in the Wabash Valley have invited me into their homes and I’m excited to continue my career at WTWO,” she said. “As a journalist, I’ve covered stories of devastation and triumph and met some amazing people along the way. I look forward to covering even more stories that are important, relevant, and interesting.”
