SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind (WTWO/WAWV) — A new center aims to help job seekers and employers in Sullivan County.

Officials celebrated the opening of the new Sullivan County WorkOne Express Center with a ribbon cutting Friday. The center will offer a one-stop location for employment support.

Some of the services offered by the new center include resume building and updates, job searches, unemployment assistance, and securing funds for job training.

The Sullivan center will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., with Friday’s hours being 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

“We are thrilled to open the newest WorkOne Express Center in the heart of Sullivan,” Executive Director Lisa Lee said. “There continues to be an abundance of open jobs in western Indiana, and we encourage job seekers and employers to utilize the many resources available to them, from training grants to career coaching. We look forward to enhancing our services to Sullivan County and opening new doors to the people who live and work in the community.”

The new center is located at 811 N. Section Street in Sullivan.
