WASHINGTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An arrest has been made following the announcement of police recovering four stolen handguns in the Washington area.
According to Washington Police, officers were investigating a series of thefts of firearms in the area and, over a few days, managed to recover four stolen handguns.
Of the stolen guns, two had been reported stolen out of Dubois County, one from Daviess County and one from Knox County.
Thursday, police announced the arrest of 28-year-old Michael Norrington, of Washington in connection to the thefts. Norrington is being held in the Daviess County Jail on $200,000 bond with 10% allowed.
