TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Reach Services and St. Stephens Episcopal Church teamed up to provide a warming shelter to the community on Friday.

John Burk with Reach Services said that 24 people used the shelter.

Burk stated that each individual was provided food, water and warm clothes. Reach Services is looking to provide housing assistance to those who used the shelter.

Burk said the warming shelter could reopen again in the future if temperatures reach or feel below zero.
