NEOGA, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — A previously wanted Neoga man, 51-year-old James M. Walthers, has been found and charged with aggravated battery. 

According to a release from the Illinois State Police, local law enforcement responded to a domestic incident in rural Neoga on Thursday, April 20, when Walthers ran from the scene. Several ISP and Cumberland County officers attempted to find Walthers.

Walthers was later found in Princeton, Kentucky on Wednesday, April 26. He was then taken into custody at the Caldwell County Jail in Kentucky.

Walthers was charged with aggravated battery, a level 3 felony, and is being held without bond.
