TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – In the first-ever community Fill a Truck Friday event, donations can be made to fill up ambulances with supplies for families in need.
The Fill a Truck Friday program is supported by a partnership between local EMS services and Terre Haute Regional Hospital. The program aims to fill an ambulance with various things like non-perishable food items, clothes, shoes, and toys. All the donated material will then be taken to local food pantries and clothes closets.
To participate, people can drop off their donated items at the following locations throughout the season:
- Friday, November 3: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Terre Haute Regional Airport
- Friday, November 10: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Robinson Walmart
- Friday, November 17: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Linton Walmart
- Friday, November 24: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Sullivan Walmart
- Friday, December 1: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Brazil
- Friday, December 8: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Rockville IGA
