WABASH VALLEY Ind./Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — With Easter right around the corner, several businesses, organizations, and churches are announcing fun spring and Easter events.

A list has been compiled of the following events, activities, and programs.

This list is not exhaustive and is subject to update throughout the season.

  • OES 43rd Kids’ Easter Egg Hunt
    • What: The Terre Haute Masonic Temple’s OES 43rd Kids’ Easter Egg Hunt is open to all members of the temple.
    • When: Sunday, March 26 | 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
    • Where: Terre Haute Masonic Temple
  • Easter breakfast and egg hunt
    • What: There will be three separate egg hunts for the age groups starting at noon with ages 1-3 going first followed by 4-7 and 8-12. The Versiti Blood Donation Bus will be on site from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
    • Where: Reelsville/Washington Township VFD
    • When: Saturday, April 8, | 7:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • Mt. Pleasant United Methodists Easter Jam
    • What: Join the Mt. Pleasant United Methodists for the Easter Jam family experience. With a giant egg hunt for babies – 4th grade, and loads of prizes, the event will start in the worship center for a celebration and then end outside with the egg hunt. Special bags will be provided for hunting the eggs.
    • When: Saturday, April 8th | 10:00 a.m.
    • Where: Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church
  • St. Mary of the Woods Easter Brunch
    • What: Bring the entire family for a special Easter Sunday Brunch prepared by Bon Appetit featuring smoked salmon, ham, herb-encrusted roast beef, and more. Guests 21 and older can purchase cocktails, while non-alcoholic beverages and delectable fresh-made desserts are also included. Seating times for Easter Brunch are 9:30 a.m., 11:45 a.m., and 2 p.m. Attendees must choose their seating time and purchase their reservations in advance in order to attend Easter Brunch. No registration required. Sorry, no walk-ins!

    • When: Sunday, April 9 | 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
    • Where: O’Shaughnessy Dining Room, Providence Spirituality & Conference Center
  • Hutsonville Community Club Easter Egg Hunt
    • What: Come join us rain or shine for our annual egg hunt! Donations will be accepted through March 25. Open to ages 0-10. For ages 0-3, parents are welcome to assist. There is no charge for participation.
    • When: Saturday, April 1st | 10:00 a.m. 
    • Where: Huntsville Township Park
  • 2023 Bloomfield Easter Egg Hunt
    • What: There will be a system for each age group (total of 5) to have a chance to hunt for egg. Each age group will go 1 at a time starting with the Walking – 23 months. After that group is done we will move on to the next one. We will be laying out prizes with the eggs and making it easier for more kids to get some extra prizes! The Easter bunny will be arriving on the Bloomfield Fire Truck around 1:30 pm.

  • Terre Haute Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt
    • What: Terre Haute Parks and Recreation is holding its free annual Easter egg hunt. 
    • Where: Deming Park
    • When: UPDATED: Saturday, April 8 (original event date: Saturday, April 1) | 1:30 p.m. (ages 2-4) & 2:30 p.m. (ages 5-10)
  • Haute City Center
    • What: The Easter bunny is hopping into Haute City Center’s patch so families can come get egg-stremely cute Spring pictures. Reservations are encouraged, so please reserve your spot online here.

  • Pet Photos with the Easter Bunny
    • What: The Easter bunny is available to take photos with pets! In order to provide a comfortable and pleasant experience for owners and pets, as well as general visitors to the mall, we ask that you agree to the pet procedures where you can also book your reservation.
    • When: Monday, March 27 and Monday, April 3 | 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Break 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.)
    • Where: Haute City Center
  • Easter Egg Hunt with Rockville Lake Park
    • What: In partnership with the Firefly Children & Family Alliance to raise awareness on preventing child abuse, Rockville Lake Park will be here volunteering and handing out information since April is Prevent Child Abuse month. Ages 0-11 are welcome to participate. No gate charge.
    • When: Saturday, April 1 | 10:00 a.m.
    • Where: Rockville Lake Park
  • Lunch with the Easter Bunny
    • What: Meet the Easter bunny and join the egg hunt! Tickets are $12 and include a box lunch, souvenir synch bag, and opportunities for photos with the Easter bunny and a meet & greet. The adult spectator price is 8 and includes a box lunch.
    • When: Saturday, April 1 | 1 -4
    • Where: The Wigwam Skate & Event Center
  • Easter Bunny Pictures at Snapped
    • What: No appointment necessary!8×10 $10 5×7 $7 4×6 $5 You Do Not Have To Have An Appointment. Everyone is welcome at any time! Hope to see you there!
    • When: Sunday, April 2 | 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • Where: Snapped Studio
  • Community Easter Egg Hunt
    • What: This is a free event, no registration is required.  Just show up with lots of friends and family!  Everyone welcome!
    • Where: Prairieton United Methodist Church
    • When: Saturday, April 8, 10:00 a.m.
  • Farmersburg Easter Egg Hunt
    • What: Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! The Easter Bunny will be in attendance, too. We will have bike and Easter basket raffles as well.
    • When: Saturday, April 8th | 11:00 a.m.
    • Where: Farmersburg George Heap Memorial Park
    • Montezuma Easter Eggstravaganza
      • What: Enjoy egg hunts, games, refreshments, and the Easter bunny. Egg hunts for ages 2-10 with goodies in every egg and the chance to win some great prizes! A sack lunch will be provided. The Easter Bunny will be present with a chance for photos so bring your cameras and your biggest smiles. Sponsored by local churches and many businesses in our area! We hope to see you there!
