KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO) — One man is dead and another is in the hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Knox County Friday night.
Indiana State Police spokesperson Todd Ringle said state police and Knox County deputies were called to the area of Monroe School Road near Small Road at about 8:40 p.m. Friday.
When they arrived, officers found the passenger, 20-year-old Dalton Kirby of Vincennes, dead at the scene. Kirby was riding without a seatbelt in a 2006 Mercedes and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
