VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local entrepreneur placed third in an international competition.
As we reported in 2022, the owner of Linneweber’s Sauce Company competed in the watermelon business challenge and took home the title. He was awarded a check for business expenses and resources that helped jump start his business.
His business grew in popularity and he decided to enter in the “Artisan Flave Awards.” This competition is organized by the International Flavor Awards and is hosted all over the world.
Chris Linneweber’s sauce entry placed third in the competition. His sauce is called “Poblano Banana Plum Sauce”, which is a mild spice sauce.
Linnewber said he is grateful for this opportunity.
“It’s very unique and hard to describe sauce, but it’s been selling very well and I’m just real proud of my achievements. And I’m glad that everyone is enjoying my sauces. That’s the best part about my business is seeing the smiles on peoples’ faces and how much they enjoy these sauces,” Linneweber said.
If you’re interested in purchasing the sauce or any others you can purchase them on his website or Facebook page.
