TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Vigo County YMCA is throwing an ’80s-themed glow dance party and fundraiser on Saturday.
It starts at 9 a.m., with land exercises. At 10:30, attendees will move to the swimming pool for water exercises.
“Our members enjoy doing a focused fitness event occasionally, and also we’re trying to raise money to purchase new equipment,” Cindi Monds, executive branch director of the Vigo County Y, said. The new equipment will include weights and barbells for the fitness department. She added, “Enjoy the ’80s music and the nostalgia and make new friends. Get fit for the day.”
Admission is $12 in advance, and $15 at the door.
