TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Vigo County Health Department says the community’s support is helping provide masks for those in need.
Since early April, the department has collected donated masks and given them to people who may not own one.
Health officials say so far they’ve received between 180 and 200 masks.
Of the masks that have been donated around 100 have been distributed to the community.
Roni Elder, health educator with the department, says if a person is in need of a mask you are encouraged to call the Vigo County Health Department at 812-462-3428.
Donations are also still being accepted outside of the Vigo County Annex.
