VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — On Wednesday, the Vigo County election board met to certify the 2023 general municipal election ballot.

Vigo County Election Board Chairman, John Kesler II, said that several other matters were discussed at Wednesday’s meeting, including no public election for the towns of Riley and Seelyville due to no contested races as well as clarifying a resolution for voting when it comes to the county council at large.

“But as to the county council at large, even if you voted straight Republican or straight Democrat, you still have to handpick because it says ‘vote for three,’ or you may vote for three. You don’t have to, but you may vote for three. That needed to be clarified, so we added a resolution today to enhance that,” Kessler said.

Election day is on November 7th.
